What was family life during the salem witch trials?

Familys had to make everything from scratch and by themselves.
If you were a child during that time you were under the same code as adults, and you had to do all chores and tend each and every
Sabbath service or any other church service, if a child speaked durin the service unless told by the priest your tongue would be whipped.
If you showed any emotion such as excitement, fear or anger. you would be severely punished.
You rarely played, because toys and games were scarce, and the Puritan thought these toys, games, and other fun things as sinful disrtactions.
Boys in that time had few chances to express their imagination. They worked as apperntices outside there house practing crafts, and they often were allowed to explore the outdoors, and go hunting and fishing. The girls were usaly working at home tending to the house by, cooking, cleaning, etc. The children were taught to read and the parents had many books and they learned by reading. The girls unsal actions sparked the witchcraft trials, but it was the adults who kept it in motion.

The time of the trials
People during the time of the trials were accused after someone concoluded a loss,
an illness, or death.
The citizens were the accusers because this time affected people's families. The people who were accused couldn't avoid punishment unless killing themselves, and the punishment was to be hung to death. The total death count was 34 people.

the economy in that time was bad. so everyone had to farm by themselves,
make clothes for them selves,
and make their own repairs on any thing and every thing that was broken.
they could not afford to buy thing from anyone out of the family.
because of the economy all prices were bumped up to a much higher price.
salem was divided up into two parts. Salem town and salem village.
